Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- cream cheese
- pkg - 1 oz
- flour
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- egg yolk - 1 item
- Dream Whip - 1 pkg
- oleo or butter - 1/2 lb
- cherry pie filling - 1 item
How to make cherry tarts:
Filling:1 (8 oz.) cream cheese2/3 c. sugar1 pkg. Dream Whip cherry pie filling Crust: Make a ball and press with thumb dipped in flour into miniature muffin tins. Bake at 350° for about 10 to 15 minutes.Filling: Make Dream Whip as directed on package. Put in sugar and cream cheese. Fill tarts with cream filling and place one cherry on each tart.
Hint: I usually have enough filling to make a double batch of tarts.
