  • sugar - 2 c
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • milk - 1 qt
  • flour - 4 tsp
  • small marshmallows - 2 c
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • can cherry pie filling - 1 item
  • beaten eggs - 4 item
  • large can evaporated milk - 1 item
  • half and half or milk - 1 pt

How to make cherry ice cream:

Scale 1 quart milk. Mix sugar, flour and salt. Add beaten eggs. Add this mixture to milk and cook until it coats a spoon. Remove from heat. Add marshmallows and stir until melted. Add vanilla. Let cool. Add evaporated milk and half and half. Add cherry pie filling and freeze.
