Cherry chiffon dessert
Ingredients/Components
- can cherry pie filling - 1 item
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk - 1 item
- tub Cool Whip - 1 8-oz
- can crushed drained pineapple omit lemon juice - 12 oz
- nuts, optional walnuts are best - 1/2 c
How to make cherry chiffon dessert:
Stir together milk and lemon juice. Mix in pie filling and Cool Whip. Pour into 9 x 9 inch pan and freeze overnight.Variation I: add crushed pineapple, omit lemon juice. Stir in pineapple when adding pie filling, then add walnuts.
Variation II: use strawberry pie filling instead of cherry.
