Ingredients/Components
- salt
- garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- oregano - 1/8 tsp
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 3/4
- olive oil - 1 Tbsp
- finely chopped onion - 3/4 c
- can tomatoes
- thyme - 1/8 tsp
- instant rice - 1 c
- slices American cheese, cut into 1/2 inch strips - 3 item
How to make cherokee casserole:
Brown meat in olive oil. Add onions; cook until tender. Stir in ingredients in order given, except cheese. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
