Ingredients/Components
- grated cheese - 1/2 lb
- medium white sauce - 2 c
- soda cracker crumbs - 1 c
- buttered crumbs - 1 item
- can pimentos - 1 oz
- hard-cooked eggs, grated - 4 item
How to make cheese pudding:
Grease the casserole; place a layer of crumbs, well moistened with sauce; stir with fork to see that all crumbs are moistened. Layer cheese, grated eggs and grated pimento. Repeat the layers; again stir with fork until all crumbs are moistened (the pudding will be dry unless crumbs are moistened). You may have to add milk to be sure crumbs are moistened. Top with buttered crumbs. Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Breakfast, Main dish.
