Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • butter or margarine - 1/2 c
  • powdered sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • hot water - 1 c
  • graham crackers - 20 item
  • box Jell-O lime or lemon - 1 item
  • can Milnot, chilled, or canned milk - 1 item

How to make cheese cake:

Dissolve Jell-O in hot water. Put in refrigerator. Roll graham crackers to make crumbs. Add powdered sugar and melted butter and mix. Line a large baking dish with one-half of the cracker mixture. Put in refrigerator. Cream together cheese and sugar, then add vanilla and Jell-O mixture. Mix well. Pour into crumb-lined baking dish and top with remaining cracker mixture. Let stand in refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
