Cheese-baked halibut
Ingredients/Components
- butter, melted - 1/4 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- basil - 1/4 tsp
- dry bread crumbs - 1/3 c
- halibut steaks - 2 lb
- tarragon vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- Cheddar cheese - 1 c
How to make cheese-baked halibut:
Arrange steaks in greased baking dish. Sprinkle with vinegar, salt, pepper and basil. Bake at 375° for 20 minutes. Remove from oven. Combine bread crumbs and cheese. Spread over steaks; sprinkle with melted butter. Return to oven and bake 10 minutes longer or until halibut flakes easily.
