Cheddar dill bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 3/4 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- shredded sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- dill weed - 2 tsp
How to make cheddar dill bread:
Combine flour and sugar. Cut in butter until crumbled; stir in the cheese and dill. In another bowl, beat egg and milk; pour into dry ingredients and stir just until moistened. Batter will be very thick. Pour into a greased loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes until the bread tests done.
