Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- milk - 3 Tbsp
- butter - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- self-rising flour
- chocolate, melted
- walnut extract - 1/2 tsp
How to make ice cream cookies:
Cream the butter and sugar together; add the egg and extracts. Beat until the mixture is thoroughly blended. Add flour alternately with milk. Divide the dough in half. Add melted chocolate to one part. Add a little more flour to the white part of the dough if necessary. Roll the white part into a thin rectangular sheet; spread with the chocolate mixture; and roll it as if it were a jelly roll. Chill. Cut into thin slices.
