Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 3 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 3/4
- can sliced water chestnuts, drained - 1 oz
- stack Town House crackers, crushed - 1/4 lb
How to make celery casserole:
Microwave Recipe: Cook on High. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a microwave-safe 2-quart casserole dish. Add celery to butter; cover and cook for 9 minutes. In a medium size mixing bowl, combine the undiluted soup and water chestnuts. Gently stir in the cooked celery and butter.Melt remaining 6 tablespoons butter and stir into cracker crumbs. Return celery mixture to casserole. Top with buttered crumbs. Cook for 15 minutes. Serves 6.
