  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • butter - 1/4 c
  • plus 2 Tbsp - 1 c
  • Worcestershire sauce - 4 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
  • prepared mustard - 4 tsp
  • cans tomato sauce - 4 oz
  • can tomato paste - 1 oz
  • wine vinegar - 4 tsp
  • minced garlic - 1 tsp
  • to 5 drops Tabasco sauce - 4 item
  • bourbon whiskey - 1 c
  • cocktail franks - 2 pkg

How to make bourbon franks:

Saute onion and green pepper in butter until soft and add remaining ingredients except franks. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Add franks and simmer for 1 hour. Transfer to crock-pot or heated chafing dish and provide wooden picks.
