Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- plus 2 Tbsp - 1 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- prepared mustard - 4 tsp
- cans tomato sauce - 4 oz
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- wine vinegar - 4 tsp
- minced garlic - 1 tsp
- to 5 drops Tabasco sauce - 4 item
- bourbon whiskey - 1 c
- cocktail franks - 2 pkg
How to make bourbon franks:
Saute onion and green pepper in butter until soft and add remaining ingredients except franks. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Add franks and simmer for 1 hour. Transfer to crock-pot or heated chafing dish and provide wooden picks.Recipe categories: For large groups, Appetizers, 5 ingredients or less.
