Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- grated carrots - 3 c
- nuts - 1/2 c
- stick butter - 3/4 item
- Wesson oil
- Beat well
How to make carrot cake:
Add sugar to eggs. Beat well. Add Wesson oil; mix well. Sift dry ingredients 3 times and mix with carrots and nuts. Add to the egg mixture and mix well. Pour into 3 well-greased layer cake pans and bake at 300° for 45 to 60 minutes.Frosting:1 box confectioners sugar3/4 stick butter2 tsp. vanilla8 oz. cream cheese1/2 c. nuts Cream butter, cheese and sugar together.
