  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • flour - 2 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • nuts - 1/2 c
  • stick butter - 3/4 item
  • carrots, grated - 3 c
  • Wesson oil
  • box cream cheese - 1 item
  • Sift dry ingredients; mix with egg mixture

How to make carrot cake:

Mix sugar, oil and eggs. Sift dry ingredients; mix with egg mixture. Add carrots and nuts. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes in a 300° oven.Icing:1 box powdered sugar1 box cream cheese3/4 stick butter1/2 c. nuts2 tsp. vanilla Let cheese and butter warm to room temperature. Cream together. Add chopped nuts and spread.
