Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- nuts - 1/2 c
- stick butter - 3/4 item
- carrots, grated - 3 c
- Wesson oil
- box cream cheese - 1 item
- Sift dry ingredients; mix with egg mixture
How to make carrot cake:
Mix sugar, oil and eggs. Sift dry ingredients; mix with egg mixture. Add carrots and nuts. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes in a 300° oven.Icing:1 box powdered sugar1 box cream cheese3/4 stick butter1/2 c. nuts2 tsp. vanilla Let cheese and butter warm to room temperature. Cream together.
