Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- chopped walnuts - 3/4 c
- shredded carrots - 2 c
- mayonnaise - 3/4 c
- crushed pineapple undrained - 1 c
How to make carrot cake:
Mix together flour, baking soda, spices and salt. Set aside. In a separate bowl, beat together eggs, sugar, mayonnaise and pineapple; gradually beat in dry ingredients until well mixed. Stir in with a spoon carrots and walnuts. Turn into 2 greased 9-inch round cake pans. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
