Ingredients/Components

  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • eggs, beaten - 3 item
  • pepper - 1 item
  • grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
  • minced parsley - 1/2 c
  • cooked ham - 1/2 lb
  • mild Italian sausage - 1/4 lb
  • cooked and drained spaghetti - 1/2 lb

How to make carbonara:

Stir-fry sausage and ham until lightly brown. Remove from wok. Have all ingredients ready and measured. Add hot spaghetti to meat with butter and parsley. Mix well. At once, pour in eggs and continue to blend quickly, lifting and mixing the pasta to coat well. Sprinkle in the 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese and a dash of pepper. Mix again. Serve and top with additional Parmesan cheese.
