Caramel popcorn
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- melted margarine - 1 c
- corn syrup - 1/2 c
How to make caramel popcorn:
Mix together in large pot and bring to a boil. Boil 5 minutes without stirring. Add 1/2 teaspoon soda and 1 teaspoon vanilla. (Add 1 1/2 cups peanuts, if desired.) Pour over 6 quarts popped corn. Stir well. Spread in large flat pan. Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Grains.
