Caramel pecan rolls
Ingredients/Components
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- water - 1 Tbsp
- firmly packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- box Pillsbury hot roll mix - 1 item
How to make caramel pecan rolls:
Prepare Pillsbury hot roll mix per package instructions and let rise.Combine 1/2 stick melted butter, brown sugar, water and pecans. Mix well. Spread evenly in bottom of well-greased 9-inch pie pan. Prepare two pie pans. Roll out dough on floured surface. Spread with 1 tablespoon soft butter; sprinkle with 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar. Roll as for a jelly roll. Cut into 18 even slices. Place cut side down in prepared pie pans. Cover. Let rise in warm place until light and doubled in size, 30 to 60 minutes. Bake in moderate oven (375°) 20 to 25 minutes. Invert immediately. Let stand a minute before removing from pans. Yields 16 rolls.
