Caramel frosting
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- light brown sugar - 2 c
- thin cream - 2/3 c
- or more cream - 1 Tbsp
How to make caramel frosting:
Boil together first four ingredients to 238°. Remove from heat and let stand until cool. Beat additional cream, a teaspoon at a time, until mixture becomes light in color and a soft consistency to spread on cake.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Cake fillings and frostings.
