Ingredients/Components
- evaporated milk - 1/3 c
- chocolate chips - 1 c
- stick melted oleo - 1 item
- box German chocolate cake mix - 1 item
- bag caramels - 1 item
How to make caramel bars:
Melt the caramels with 1/3 cup of evaporated milk. Mix the cake mix, melted oleo and 1/3 cup evaporated milk; put half of this mixture in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Pat in crust and bake at 350° for 6 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle 1 cup of chocolate chips over crust, then pour caramel mixture over. Put rest of cake mix mixture over caramels and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie.
