Ingredients/Components
- evaporated milk - 1/3 c
- chocolate chips - 1 c
- melted butter - 3/4 c
- caramels - 1 pkg
- pecans optional - 1 c
- milk chocolate cake mix - 1 pkg
How to make caramel bars:
Mix the cake mix, butter and 1/3 c. evaporated milk together. Press 1/2 of of the mixture in a 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes and cool. Melt the caramels and evaporated milk in the microwave until smooth. Pour over crust. Sprinkle 1 cup of chocolate chips and 1 cup pecans over the caramel. Dot remaining cake mix batter over the top.
