Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- water - 2 Tbsp
- sweet potatoes - 3 item
How to make candied yams:
Boil sweet potatoes until tender. Slip off the peelings and slice lengthwise in 1/2-inch thick slices. Arrange in buttered bake dish. Sprinkle with brown sugar, salt and cinnamon and dot with butter. Add water and bake at 350° for 25 minutes.Recipe categories: Pineapple, Side dish, Casseroles.
