Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 lb
- vinegar - 2 c
- pickling spices - 3 Tbsp
- whole dill pickles - 1 gal
How to make candied dill pickles:
Slice pickles and cover with ice; when it melts (about 5 hours), drain. Mix sugar, vinegar and pickling spices. Pour over pickles. Let stand for 3 days, stirring every day. (Do not cover.) Put in jars on the third day.Recipe categories: Time to make, < 30 mins, 5 ingredients or less.
