Ingredients/Components
- clove garlic - 1 item
- medium heads romaine lettuce - 2 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- dry mustard - 1/4 tsp
- black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- olive oil - 6 Tbsp
- juice from 2 lemons
- to 5 chopped anchovy fillets optional - 4 item
- coddled eggs* - 2 item
- garlic croutons - 2 c
How to make caesar salad:
*To coddle eggs: Cook 1 1/2 minutes in barely simmering water. Rub salad bowl with cut garlic clove. Tear lettuce into medium size pieces in bowl. Add salt, mustard, pepper and cheese.
