Ingredients/Components
- egg yolk - 1 item
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1 item
- Dijon mustard - 1/4 tsp
- lemon - 1 item
- olive oil - 1 item
- cloves garlic, crushed - 2 item
- romaine lettuce - 1 item
- dashes Worcestershire sauce - 2 item
- several croutons - 1 item
- can anchovies fillets - 1 item
- dash of red wine vinegar - 1 item
How to make caesar salad:
Mash to a paste the garlic, croutons and anchovies with a fork in a wooden bowl. Add mustard, Worcestershire sauce and egg yolk and mix well. Slowly pour in olive oil and mix while pouring until creamy. Squeeze the juice of 1 lemon and add dash of red wine vinegar and some grated Parmesan cheese. Mix all together.Tear up into small pieces the romaine lettuce. Toss lettuce with dressing. Add additional croutons and Parmesan cheese.
