Cabbage au gratin
Ingredients/Components
- tbsp milk - 2 item
- tbsp butter or margarine - 1 item
- medium head cabbage, shredded about 8 cups - 1 item
- can 10 3/4 oz condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted - 1 item
- C shredded processed American cheese - 1 item
- C soft bread crumbs - 1 item
How to make cabbage au gratin:
In a large covered saucepan, cook cabbage in boiling salted water for 5 minutes, drain.Place cabbage in a greased 8 inch square baking dish. In a small sauce, blend soup and milk, heat well. Add cheese and stir until melted.
Pour over cabbage. Saut?© bread crumbs in butter until golden, sprinkle over cabbage. Bake at 350 degrees 15-20 minutes or until hot.
8-10 servings.
