Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- stick margarine or butter - 1 item
- maple flavoring - 1/2 tsp
- butterscotch morsels, melted - 12 oz
How to make butterscotch pound cake:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, blending well after each addition. Sift together dry ingredients. Add alternately with milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Add flavoring, nuts and morsels. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Comfort food.
