Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• chopped nuts - 1 c
• flour - 4 c
• brown sugar - 1 c
• coconut - 1 item
• baking powder - 1/2 tsp
• baking soda - 1/2 tsp
• Crisco - 1/2 c
• margarine - 1 c
• large marshmallows - 1 item
• white sugar - 1 c
• lukewarm milk - 3/4 c
• crushed pineapple, drained - 1 c
• Add eggs and vanilla and continue beating until fluffy

How to make haystacks:

Beat sugar and margarine together. Add eggs and vanilla and continue beating until fluffy. Add flour, salt, baking powder and soda; mix thoroughly. Add nuts and pineapple and mix well.

Drop by 1/2 teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Cut large marshmallows in half; put marshmallow half on each cookie while hot. Cover each cookie entirely with icing and roll in coconut.Icing:1 stick margarine3/4 c. lukewarm milk1/2 c. Crisco1 c. sugar1 tsp. vanilla Beat 10 minutes until creamy.
