Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1 c
- eggs, separated - 2 item
- scalded milk - 1 c
- 8-inch baked pie shell - 1 item
How to make butterscotch pie:
Combine in a heavy saucepan sugar, flour and butter. Stir and cook until well blended. Add milk. Stir. Beat 2 egg yolks until light. Pour a little of the milk mixture over beaten egg yolks and then combine. Stir constantly until thick. Cool and flaRecipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
