  • graham cracker crumbs - 2 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • can sweetened condensed milk - 1 oz

How to make butterscotch cream cheese bars:

In medium saucepan, melt butterscotch chips and butter over low heat. Stir in cracker crumbs. Mix well. Reserve 2/3 of mixture. Press remainder firmly into bottom of buttered 13 x 9-inch ovenproof glass baking dish, making uniform layers. Heat oven to 325°.

In large bowl, beat cream cheese until light and fluffy. Beat in condensed milk, vanilla and egg. Fold in nuts. Pour into prepared pan. Scatter reserved crumb mixture over top. Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Cool. Cut into 1 1/2 to 2-inch bars.
