Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour
- butter - 1/2 c
- buttermilk - 1 c
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- dash of nutmeg - 1 item
- 9-inch unbaked pie shell
How to make buttermilk pie:
Soften butter. Add sugar and cream together. Add flour and eggs. Beat well. Stir in buttermilk, vanilla and nutmeg. Pour in unbaked pie shell. Bake 45 to 50 minutes at 350°. Cool before serving.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
