- flour - 3/4 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 1/2
- fryer pieces - 3 lb
How to make buttermilk baked chicken:
Preheat oven to 425°. Melt butter in pan; dip chicken in 1/2 cup buttermilk and roll in flour, salt and pepper. Place in pan, skin side down. Bake, uncovered, 30 minutes; turn and bake 15 minutes. Mix soup and 1 cup buttermilk and pour around pieces. Bake until tender, about 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Poultry.
