Ingredients/Components
- large eggs - 2 item
- c milk - 1/3 item
- c sugar - 1/2 item
- tsp baking powder - 1 item
- c butter - 1/2 item
- tsp vanilla - 1/2 item
- 1/2 c cake flour - 1 item
How to make butter cake:
Preheat oven to 325° for electric or 350 for gas. Use an electric mixer, beat butter and vanilla until light and creamy. Gradually add sugar and beat until light. Add eggs one at a time, beating well each time. Stir in 1/2 of flour, powder and milk, beat until smooth. Add remaining flour, powder and milk until smooth.
