Cherry pudding
Ingredients/Components
- tsp salt - 1/4 item
- c milk - 1/2 item
- c sugar - 1 item
- c flour - 1 item
- tsp baking powder - 1 item
- tsp vanilla - 1/2 item
- Tbsp butter seasoning - 4 item
- c #2 1/2 can of pitted sour cherries drained, 1 c cherry juice if not enough cherry juice, add water to make 1 c - 2 item
How to make cherry pudding:
Grease 8 x 8 x 2 cake pan. Sift flour, add baking powder, salt and use 1/2 c sugar. Add butter (shortening or margarine) milk and vanilla mix with mixer. Pour into pan, cover with cherries and sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup of sugar. Heat cherry juice and pour over mixture. Bake in 375 degree oven for 40 to 50 minutes.
