Ingredients/Components

  • diced ham - 1/2 c
  • medium onion, chopped - 1 item
  • grated zucchini squash - 1 item
  • medium potatoes with skins left on - 3 item
  • blanched cabbage - 4 c
  • slices bacon, chopped and cooked - 3 item

How to make bubble and squeak:

Mix with hands all ingredients. Place bacon drippings in skillet. Pour mixture in skillet and pack down with hands. Cook on medium heat until browned on bottom (about 20 minutes). Turn upside down on plate, browned side up. Serve hot.
