Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/4 c
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- cocoa
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/4 c
- sifted flour - 3/4 c
How to make brownies:
Beat egg with pinch of salt. Add sugar and shortening and mix well. Add cocoa, flour and baking powder, sifted together. Add milk gradually; beat well. Add vanilla and nuts. Stir well.
