  • half and half - 2 c
  • pkg - 1 lb
  • milk - 3 c
  • eggs, beaten - 5 item
  • whipping cream - 1 c
  • chopped pecans toasted, if desired - 1 c

How to make brown sugar ice cream:

Combine eggs and sugar; mix well. Add remaining ingredients; stir well. Pour mixture into freezer can of a 5-quart freezer. Freeze according to manufacturer's instructions. Let set 1 hour. Yields about 1 gallon.
