- can sliced mushrooms, drained - 1 item
- stick butter or margarine - 1 item
- can sliced water chestnuts, drained - 1 item
- cans beef consomme - 2 item
- uncooked white rice - 2 c
- cans French onion soup - 2 item
How to make brown rice casserole:
Mix ingredients in 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Break stick of butter into 6 chunks on top of mixture. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake at 350° for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
