- milk - 1/2 c
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- Velveeta cheese - 8 oz
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- can cream of chicken soup
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- cooked rice - 2 c
- head broccoli, diced - 2 lb
How to make broccoli rice casserole:
Parboil broccoli in 1/2 cup boiling salted water until crisp-tender. Drain well. Place in 2-quart casserole. Stir in rice and half the cheese. Melt butter in skillet.
