Broccoli quiche
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- half and half - 1 c
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- grated Monterey Jack cheese
- frozen deep dish pie shell - 1 item
- fresh cooked broccoli - 1/2 box
How to make broccoli quiche:
Saute onion in margarine until soft. Mix in with broccoli. Beat (or mix in blender) the eggs, cream and salt. Spread cheese and broccoli evenly over bottom of pie shell. Place pie pan on cookie sheet. Pour cream mixture over broccoli. Bake on lowest rack of oven at 375° for 35 to 40 minutes, or until knife inserted comes out clean.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Vegetables, Broccoli.
