Broccoli puff
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 1/4 c
- butter or margarine, melted - 1 Tbsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- salad dressing - 1/4 c
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- 1/2 c - 2 oz
- fine, dry bread crumbs
How to make broccoli puff:
Topping:1/4 c. fine, dry bread crumbs1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted Cook broccoli (no salt). Drain and put in 10 x 6 x 1 1/2 baking dish. Stir together soup and cheese. Gradually add milk, salad dressing and beaten egg to soup mixture, stirring until well blended. Pour over broccoli in baking dish. Combine bread crumbs and melted butter. Spread over soup mixture. Bake in moderate oven, 350° for 45 minutes until crumbs are lightly browned. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: Egg, Side dish, Cheese.
