Broccoli puff
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 1/4 c
- melted margarine - 1 Tbsp
- beaten egg - 1 item
- mayonnaise or salad dressing - 1/4 c
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1/2 c
- can condensed cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- crushed Ritz crackers or fine dry bread crumbs - 1/4 c
How to make broccoli puff:
Cook broccoli according to package directions, omitting salt. Drain thoroughly. Spray baking dish with cooking spray or butter dish. Place broccoli in the baking dish. Mix soup, cheese, milk, mayonnaise and egg. Pour over broccoli. Top with Ritz crackers or the bread crumbs mixed with the melted margarine. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until bubbly and the crumbs are lightly browned. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Egg, Side dish, Cheese.
