Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • flour - 3 Tbsp
  • egg whites, beaten stiff - 2 item
  • margarine - 3 Tbsp
  • cream - 1/2 c
  • egg yolks, beaten - 2 item
  • juice 1 lemon and grated rind

How to make lemon pudding:

Melt margarine and combine with flour, 3/4 cup sugar and other ingredients. Add 1/4 cup sugar to egg whites and beat until stiff. Fold into first mixture; pour into buttered casserole dish, place in a pan of hot water. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Cool before serving.
