Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- milk - 1/4 c
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- slices bacon - 4 item
- shredded cooked potatoes or frozen hash browns - 2 c
How to make breakfast skillet:
Fry bacon until crisp; drain and crumble. Mix potatoes, onion and green pepper together; fry in bacon drippings until crisp and browned. Mix eggs and milk with salt and pepper; pour over potatoes. Top with cheese and bacon; cover. Cook slowly for about 10 minutes. Cut into wedges to serve. Makes 4 servings.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Low sodium, Low fat.
