- eggs - 6 item
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- slices bread, cubed - 4 item
- grated sharp cheese - 1 c
- regular or hot sausage - 1 lb
How to make breakfast casserole:
Cook sausage, breaking it into bits as you cook it. Drain and set aside. Beat eggs; add milk, salt and mustard. Layer bread in greased 9 x 9-inch baking dish; add sausage and cheese. Pour egg mixture over all ingredients. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Uncover and pop in 350° oven for 45 minutes.
