Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 6 item
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- slices bread, cubed - 4 item
- mustard - 1 tsp
- grated sharp cheese - 1 c
- sausage or bacon - 1 lb
How to make breakfast casserole:
Brown the sausage or bacon; drain. Beat eggs. Add milk, salt and mustard. In bottom of greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish, arrange bread cubes. Top with the sausage or bacon. Sprinkle on cheese and pour egg mixture over all. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
