Bread pudding
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 9 item
- vanilla - 4 tsp
- milk
- dash of salt - 1 item
- raisins - 1 c
- margarine - 1/2 lb
- milk may add more - 3 c
- can Freestone peaches - drained and crushed
- giant loaf of bread - 1 item
- Add salt, vanilla and sugar, and mix again
How to make bread pudding:
Combine milk, peaches and eggs in large bowl and mix. Add salt, vanilla and sugar, and mix again.Melt margarine and mix with above ingredients.
Sprinkle raisins in bottom of two 9 x 13-inch pans.
Pull slices of bread apart in small pieces - do not squeeze or mash. Divide bread cubes into two pans; put half of egg and milk mixture in each pan, making sure bread is moistened. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 325° until golden brown. Serve warm, with or without vanilla sauce.Vanilla Sauce:1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding3 c. milk (may add more) 2-3 tsp. vanilla
