Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 9 item
  • vanilla - 4 tsp
  • milk
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • raisins - 1 c
  • margarine - 1/2 lb
  • milk may add more - 3 c
  • can Freestone peaches - drained and crushed
  • giant loaf of bread - 1 item
  • Add salt, vanilla and sugar, and mix again

How to make bread pudding:

Combine milk, peaches and eggs in large bowl and mix. Add salt, vanilla and sugar, and mix again.

Melt margarine and mix with above ingredients.

Sprinkle raisins in bottom of two 9 x 13-inch pans.

Pull slices of bread apart in small pieces - do not squeeze or mash. Divide bread cubes into two pans; put half of egg and milk mixture in each pan, making sure bread is moistened. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 325° until golden brown. Serve warm, with or without vanilla sauce.Vanilla Sauce:1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding3 c. milk (may add more) 2-3 tsp. vanilla
