Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- soda
- buttermilk - 1/2 qt
- boiling water - 1 c
- shortening - 1/2 c
- beaten eggs - 2 item
- bran flakes - 1 c
- All-Bran - 2 c
How to make bran muffins:
Mix soda into the boiling water and cool mixture. Cream together the remaining ingredients. Add the water and soda mixture. Bake in papered muffin tins at 375° for 12 to 15 minutes. Mixture will keep in the refrigerator for up to one week.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Muffins.
