Ingredients/Components
- cooking oil - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 c
- celery, chopped - 1 c
- carrots, chopped - 1 c
- potatoes, diced - 1 c
- brisket of stew beef, sliced to fry - 1 item
How to make braised beef:
Fry the slices of beef until medium brown. Add onion, celery, carrots, potatoes, salt and pepper. Add 2 cups water and let simmer until done (about 1 1/2 hours). Serve over rice.Recipe categories: Weeknight, Meat, Beef.
