Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • egg - 1 item
  • small can evaporated milk - 1 item
  • bourbon - 1/4 c

How to make bourbon sauce:

Mix milk, sugar, egg, butter and salt in top of double boiler. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Cool slightly. Add bourbon.

Hint: Delicious on chocolate pound cake.
