Ingredients/Components
- sifted powdered sugar - 1/2 c
- finely chopped pecans - 1 c
- bag semi-sweet chocolate chips - 1 (6
- bourbon - 1/2 c
- Karo or honey - 3 Tbsp
- vanilla cookie crumbs
- regular sugar to roll balls in - 1 item
How to make bourbon balls:
Melt chips in double boiler until smooth. Stir in bourbon and Karo. Let cool. Combine crumbs, 10x sugar and nuts and add to melted chips. Let sit 1/2 hour. Shape into balls. Roll in regular sugar. Store airtight in cool place or in refrigerator.Recipe categories: Desserts, American, Southern u.s..
